If you’ve ever scrolled through Instagram, you’ve probably seen the viral Hailey Bieber smoothie from Erewhon. It’s got that perfect blend of creamy, fruity goodness with a touch of glam – just like Hailey herself! Today, I’m super excited to share my copycat plant-based version of this iconic smoothie, so you can whip it up at home anytime the craving hits. Packed with vibrant strawberries, creamy almond milk, and a few secret ingredients that make it extra special, this smoothie is as delicious as it is beautiful. Get ready to blend up some serious Hailey vibes right in your own kitchen!

What’s in the Erewhon Hailey Bieber Smoothie?

The original Erewhon Hailey Bieber Smoothie features a blend of almond milk, banana, strawberries, avocado, dates, maple syrup, vanilla collagen, vanilla stevia, sea moss, coconut cream and Driscoll’s Organic Strawberry Glaze.

Do I have to add in sea moss if I can’t find it?

Sea moss – it’s the trending ingredient taking the internet by storm. But, what is sea moss? Sea moss is a nutrient-dense superfood rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It’s believed to support skin health, boost immunity, and improve digestion, making it a popular addition to wellness smoothies, so it’s worth noting that I would recommend adding it to this smoothie. However, with that said, you don’t need to add it as it is does not change the flavour profile without it, especially when you opt for an unflavoured sea moss here in this recipe.

How many calories are in the Hailey Bieber Smoothie?

The calorie count can vary depending on the exact ingredients and quantities used, but the original Erewhon version is estimated to be around 400-450 calories. You can adjust the ingredients to fit your dietary needs, macros and preference. I tend to ‘free pour’ so I don’t calculate my calories for this smoothie but it’s filling and should keep you full for a few hours until lunch if having it for breakfast.

Can I add other ingredients to the smoothie?

Absolutely! While the original recipe is delicious on its own, you can customise it by adding your favourite ingredients like spinach, chia seeds, or a LSA for an extra nutritional boost.

Ingredients

  • 1.25 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • 1/2 cup Frozen Strawberries

  • 1/2 cup Frozen Banana

  • 1/2 Small Avocado

  • 1 tbsp Unflavoured Sea Moss

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 2 Small Dates, pitted

  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Cream, refridgerated

  • 1 scoop Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder

  • Strawberry Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries

  • 1.5 tsp Lemon Juice

  • 1 tsp Coconut Sugar

  • 1 tbsp Water

  • 1 tsp Corn Flour

Directions

  • First, if making the Strawberry Glaze yourself, boil down frozen strawberries over low heat on the stove. Add in corn flour, lemon juice and coconut sugar. Allow. to thicken until it is not watery or runny. It will continue to thicken once removed from the heat after a few minutes. At this point, using an emersion stick blender, blend mixture into a smooth glaze texture.
  • To make the smoothie, blend all smoothie ingredients in a high-powered blender excluding the coconut cream. Adjust according to your preferred thickness. Ensure your coconut cream has been placed into the fridge overnight or a few hours prior to ensure the liquid separates from the cream so you can assemble the smoothie cup like the photo above.
  • Using separate spoons, smear coconut cream and strawberry glaze around parts of the glass smoothie cup. Next, pour in smoothie and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure the coconut cream is placed into the fridge either a few hours before making the smoothie or overnight to ensure adequate separation from the liquid to achieve the smears on the glass smoothie cup
  • If you can’t find sea moss you can skip this in the recipe. However, if you are wanting to use it, you can find this at most health food stores.
